The following are the Shabbat announcements for December 8 - Shabbat Mevarekhim, Parashat Miketz.

This weeks Shabbat announcement is in honor of the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Lila and Arnold Frost. If you would like to dedicate an upcoming Shabbat message, please call the Temple office.

Kabbalat Shabbat is at 4:00 p.m. and Candle lighting is at 4:13 p.m.

Tomorrow morning, Shabbat services are at 8:45 a.m. Mincha is at 3:45 p.m. followed by Shalosh Seudos which is sponsored by the Siyyum Shabbos Study Group. Shabbat ends at 5:13 p.m.

This Sunday morning minyan is a joint South River and Highland Park Minyan at 8:30 a.m. at the Federation building in South River.

Sunday evening Minyan is at 7:30 p.m.

Morning Minyan at the Temple from Monday through Friday is at 6:45 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.  Morning minyan in South River is Weekdays 7:00 a.m. but 6:50 a.m. on days when the Torah is read.


Join us at the Temple as we revisit a film classic, "The Pawnbroker," this Saturday, December 8th at 8:00 P.M. This film is rated R for adult content. After the film, Rabbi James Diamond will lead a talk and audience discussion. Rabbi Diamond is a lecturer in Comparative Literature, Near Eastern Studies, and Judaic Studies at Princeton University.

Your reservations are due Friday, December 14th for the Annual Men’s Club Concert and Chinese Buffet with Avi Maza Orchestra being held on Monday, December 24th. Please make sure to mail or drop-off your response ASAP.
